Helix, a Canadian metal band for over 30 years, has a new CD "Power of Rock and Roll" out now and played the Mainline Bar & Grill Saturday, 10/13/07 in Downer, MN. Vocalist Brian Vollmer is the only remaining original member of the group that started in Kitchner, Ontario in the late 1970s. Playing with Vollmer in 2007 are: Steve Georgakopoulos, guitar; Jeff Fountain on bass and drummer Rob MacEachern rounds out the Helix lineup.
