Hard-core Fargo rockers Necktie Suicide performed at The Aquarium in downtown Fargo Thursday, 7/19/07 - a CD release party for their sophomore effort "A Night At The Formal" which is a self-produced release recorded at Gray Barn Studios in Detroit Lakes, MN. The band's debut CD "Bearing Witness To The Fall Of Rome" hit the streets in 2005 and Necktie did that one at DML Studios in Escondido, Calif., after one of its employees happened to catch their live show while passing through Fargo. DML is a studio where Sublime and other national acts have recorded their material. Regarding their band name, lead singer A.J. Anderson says it kinda reflects his view of life, which is: "You're born, you go to school, you graduate, get a job, get fat and die."
